Watch out 2012, I'm Back!

Hello my lovely Bloggy Buddies!  I'm very pleased to announce that I am officially back to blogging!  I miss you all so much, I just couldn't stay away too long.

And to show how much I love and adore you, and have missed the pants off you (okay not literally...because that would be weird) Colene Murphy and I have decide to hold a little contest!  Yep, she's back too!  We're comin' back in style, my peeps!

It's SO super easy and I would feel oh-so-loved if you'd just leave a comment here and tell me which book you've been DYING to read but just haven't gotten around to it.  If you win, I'll buy it for you! (or if you have a favorite book that you'd like to own, put that down!)  Plus, you have TWO chances to win- leave a comment here, and jump on over to Colene's blog and leave a comment there!  We'll be picking 2 winners on Monday January 16.

Anyway, so now that that is out of the way, I'll just do a quick little list of what I've been up to while I've been gone.
1. Finish revising WIP to make it shine.
2. Write the dreaded synopsis and subsequently kill my crit partners with boredom.
3. Drive Little Monster back and forth to school, activities, parties, and gymnastics.
4. Catch up on reading- I almost forgot how to do that.
5. Keep my house above sanitation codes.
6. Start NEW WIP, yay!

Welp, that about sums up my break!

Now I want to hear what YOU'VE been up to!  Please please let me know because I really have thought about you a lot during my break.

So remember to let me know what book you'd love for me to get you (don't forget an email if its not attached to your account), tell me how you've been doing, and go see Colene!  Contest closes Sunday January 15th!

I'm so glad to be back and see your shining faces!  Tootles and mwah!

Welcome back, Abby! I doubt you killed your critique partners. Colene is still alive.
I've downloaded so many eBooks written by my blogger buddies, I don't know which ones I still lack...

Welcome back, Abby and congratulations on achieving so much during your break. What a good start to the year to have two great bloggers back! I can't enter your contest as I'm from the UK but the book I am most dying to read is Shatter Me. I haven't been able to find it in any of the book shops in England yet, so I'm going to get it from Amazon with my Christmas money as soon as I can!

Welcome back. Good luck with your goals. I'm with you on the keeping the house up to sanitation codes and driving kids everywhere.

I haven't been able to justify it yet, because I have read the original release, but the 10th Anniversary Edition of Neil Gaiman's American Gods is just stuck there in the back of my mind. Taunting me. I can't enter a Barnes & Noble without holding it.
Good to see you back on here.

Welcome back! You've been missed! Sadly, I can't enter your competition, as I live in "the future", remember... ;-)
The only exciting news you've missed on my blog (yeah, being a teacher just doesn't seem to provide that much excitement...) is my decision to epublish a series of stories, beginning in March this year :-) Yay for goals!

Book I've been most wanting to read are all the ones you have recommended. You've given me so many suggestions and I can't keep up! Miss you and happy you are blogging again. Hug!

Hi Abby! Nice blogging and can't wait to check out the whole site.

I just found a series of books by Abigail Reynolds in which she re-writes the characters of Pride and Prejudice. It's fun to see your favorite characters in a new light. Mr Darcy's Obsession was wonderful. Next will be Mr. Darcy's Undoing.

Also I'll be reading Bloody Sunday, a book my friend from Kansas City just had published and is available on Kindle: http://amzn.com/B006RUJSFK

Glad to have you back! All your goals seem awesome, good luck with them all. :)

As for me, I've been a really good procrastinator. Hopefully 2012 will change that!

I have so many books in my TBR pile, and yet I still go out and buy more. I'm not sure what exactly is wrong with me.

I'll just pick one: Seed, by Rob Ziegler.

Welcome back! You've been missed. Hmmm... I finished the first draft of my second book and will be editing soon, and starting another after that.

Ooh, the book I keep wanting to read is Daughter of Smoke and Bone.

Hi! Good to meet you! Found you through Unedited. Anyway, please tell me how you manage to keep your house above sanitation codes because I sure can't!

A book I want to read - I just left it on Colene's blog. Destined, the latest book in the House of Night Series. I have all of them in hardback. I want to have the entire series, not electronically. You know? I'm dying to read that book but haven't read it yet.

Thanks for another great blog to follow!

Ohmygosh, hasn't it been crazy lately?? Congrats on the sanitation code thingy, christy and I were just commenting about who may have stolen our vacuums! (that's our story, anyway!)

Can you believe I haven't read Hunger Games yet? I know, tsk, tsk. Happy 2012!
